Kathmandu. Nepali Congress leader Dr. Shekhar Koirala has proposed to hold the 15th Congress by the end of December 2082 and start preparing for the elections. In an informal discussion with the district chairpersons and former chairpersons available in Kathmandu on Friday, they expressed the view that the convention should be completed before the next general election and go to the election under a new and fresh leadership.

I have been saying for a long time that the 15th Congress of the Nepali Congress should be held by the end of November 2082. Now, due to the pressure of time, situation, etc., if it cannot be done by the end of November 2082, it should be done by the end of December 2082, he said. He is of the opinion that when making the schedule until the end of December 2018, it should be made in such a way that it does not conflict with the schedule published by the Election Commission.
