Due to the combined effect of the low pressure system and local winds developed in the upper atmosphere of the western part of the country, the weather is going to change in different parts of the country. Due to this, there is a possibility that there will be rain and snow in the Himalayan and hilly areas and the heat will increase further in some parts of the Terai.

According to the Water and Weather Forecast Division, it is generally cloudy in the Himalayan and hilly areas of Gandaki and Karnali provinces. The weather is mainly clear in most parts of Terai, while it remains partly cloudy in the rest of the hilly areas. At present, light rain is falling in limited places of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Himalayan and hilly parts of Sudurpaschim Province.
