Dissatisfied with the foreign minister's reply, MP Ashika Tamang walked out of the meeting room
August 2, Kathmandu. In the meeting of the House of Representatives, Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal has instructed National Independent Party MP Ashika Tamang to remain within the dignity of the House after expressing dissatisfaction with the answer given by Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal and demanding further clarification.
In the meeting, Foreign Minister Khanal answered various issues raised by MP Tamang earlier. Not satisfied with the minister's answer, MP Tamang asked for time to ask more questions.
However, Speaker Aryal reminded the rules of the Parliament and informed that there is no provision for further questioning or clarification on the minister's answer. Although the Speaker repeatedly asked her to take her seat, MP Tamang maintained her questioning stance.
As the situation became uncomfortable, the Speaker warned MP Tamang to respect the dignity of Parliament and parliamentary dignity. After not getting time to speak from the speaker, MP Tamang left the meeting room.
