Direct counting of votes ends today

Kathmandu. The counting of direct votes for the House of Representatives Member Election, 2082 has ended today. According to the Election Commission, the counting of proportional votes will be completed by tomorrow. So far, the results of 161 constituencies have been declared directly, while the counting of votes in the remaining four constituencies is ongoing, the commission said. After counting of 161 direct seats, RSVP has won 124 seats so far. RSVP is now ahead in one area. On the proportional side, RSWP got 36 lakh 50 thousand 21 votes.
The Nepali Congress, which is about to become the second party, has won 17 seats directly, while it has received 1.23 million 362 votes on the proportional basis. CPN 9 UML 0, which is in the third place, has won in eight regions. UML got 1 million 40 thousand 168 votes in proportional.
