Diktel Rupakot allocated a budget of Rs 45 lakh to drive away the monkeys

Kathmandu. Diktel Rupakot Majhuwagadhi Municipality has allocated a budget for monkey extermination. In order to provide relief to the farmers suffering from the terror of monkeys, the municipality has allocated a budget from the 15th Municipal Assembly to keep 'Bali Heralu' in every ward and village.

In the budget for the next financial year 2083 and 84 presented by the city deputy chief Vishan Rai, Rs. 45 lakh has been allocated to reduce the damage caused to agricultural crops by wild animals including monkeys. City deputy chief Rai has allocated a budget of 1 billion 1 crore 55 lakh 31 thousand 101 rupees for the financial year 2083-84, keeping agricultural production as the first priority. 

Mayor Tirtharaj Bhattarai said that the policy and program of keeping 'Bali Heralu' has been passed to solve the problem of monkeys. It is said that a short-term and long-term plan has been made in coordination with the federal government and neighboring municipalities to solve the problem of monkeys.
