Deuba party of Nepali Congress starts parallel convention, ward convention is held today

Kathmandu. Former Chairman of Nepali Congress Sher Bahadur Deuba party group is starting the ward session today as part of the 15th Congress. While the founding party is preparing for the 15th Congress from October 18th, the other group led by Deuba has advanced the convention process in parallel.

The Deuba group has set the date of the convention from 21st to 23rd of December. According to the same schedule, the agenda for completion of municipal elections on October 20th, Provincial Assembly regional elections on October 23rd and provincial sessions on November 4th has been submitted to the Election Commission.

According to the leader of the group, Kiranraj Paudel, election officers have been deployed on behalf of the Central Election Committee in all 77 districts, while election coordinators have been mobilized in 56 districts.
