Death of Asha Bhosale
Kathmandu. Asha Bhosle, the great singer of Indian music, passed away at the age of 92. She was unwell for a few months and was admitted to Brich Candy Hospital in Mumbai on Saturday after suffering from heart and respiratory problems. She was taken to the hospital in critical condition and was being treated in the ICU on Saturday night.
She left a deep impact not only on Indian but also on world music by singing thousands of songs in her musical journey of more than 7 decades. His songs have remained popular for generations. With his death, Indian music has lost an important era. The news of singer Bhosale's death was confirmed by her son Anand on Sunday afternoon. Indian media has also written the news of his death. His family said that his funeral will be held tomorrow, Monday.
