Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', Coordinator of the Convention Organizing Committee of the Communist Party of Nepal Maoist Center, has said that creating an environment in which elections can be held in a safe and peaceful manner is the main need of the moment. Wishing him Happy Diwali, Nepal Samvat 1146 and Chhath, he mentioned that the current complicated political situation should be eased and elections should be conducted. "After the general election, we believe that a new chapter of social justice and good governance can be started by amending the constitution for forward-looking transformation with national consensus," said the congratulatory message issued by coordinator Dahal. He has expressed his best wishes to all the Nepalese people living in the country and abroad on the occasion of Happy Diwali, Nepal Samvat 1146 and Chhath. Stating that original cultural festivals are making a special contribution to awaken mutual tolerance, brotherhood and emotional unity, Coordinator Dahal said that these festivals have been providing inspiration to strengthen national unity while keeping sovereignty and geographical integrity intact.
