Cooperation between the government and banks is essential to expand the economy: Finance Minister

Kathmandu. Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle has said that the government and banks should work together to achieve economic growth by expanding the economy.

Finance Minister Wagle has said that in the discussion with the Chief Executive Officers of Commercial Banks organized by the Ministry of Finance today regarding the implementation of the new budget and the state of the financial market, the Bank and the Government should proceed with consensus.

He clarified that the ministry has organized a discussion to listen to the problems of the banks, take government initiatives to solve them and join hands to achieve the broad objective of economic growth of the government. Urging the banks and bankers to tell the problem of their area confidently, he also made it clear that the government will solve the problem honestly.
