Kathmandu. Nepali Congress has passed a condolence resolution expressing deep sorrow over the death of former central member Mohammad Aftaw Alam. Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Paudel informed that the emergency meeting held at the party central office has decided to lower the flag at all levels of the party for three days on 22nd, 23rd and 24th of Kartik while paying tribute to Alam.

The meeting also decided that on 23rd of Kartik, all the offices of the center, state and district will be closed and the mourning book will be kept for 13 days after the death and a mourning meeting will be organized in the respective districts.
