Kathmandu. Nepali Congress Vice Chairman Bishwaprakash Sharma mentioned that the leadership change along with the policy transformation through the special convention will help the country. On behalf of the party, while giving a message to the Nepalis living abroad, he said that merely announcing the change would not be enough. Mentioning the need for extensive transformation in administration, politics, party, government and the society as a whole, he claimed that it has started with the Congress.
Sharma informed that a policy to address the sentiments of non-resident Nepali NRNs has been put forward. Supporting the slogan 'One time Nepali forever', he pledged to adopt a liberal approach to citizenship issues. In addition, according to the order of the Supreme Court, efforts will be made to ensure the right to vote from abroad in the future.
