Congress central working committee meeting today
Kathmandu. Congress Central Working Committee meeting is being held today. Party General Secretary Krishna Prasad Paudel informed that the meeting will be held at the central office of Sanepa at 1 pm on Saturday. According to him, the officers, members, invited members and all 7 provincial presidents of the central working committee have been called in the meeting. The meeting called for November 4 was postponed and called for today.
In the central working committee meeting which started on October 28th, the meeting has been adjourned several times due to differences of opinion on fixing the date of the party's 15th convention. Although the central members have finished speaking in the meeting, this meeting has been called to try to reach an agreement through informal discussion. General Minister Gagan Kumar Thapa and Bishwa Prakash Sharma and other leaders are saying that the convention should be completed by December before the next House of Representatives election on February 21, while the leaders of Chairman Sher Bahadur Deuba's side are adamant that the convention should be held only after the election.
