Complaints against candidates today, when will the final list be published?

Kathmandu. The Election Commission has said that a complaint can be filed today against the candidates who have nominated themselves as members of the House of Representatives. Complaints can be filed against candidates who have registered their candidacy according to the election program for the first-to-be-elected election system.  

After the complaint, the final list will be published by 5:00 PM on the 8th of January after examining the nomination papers and the complaint and making necessary decisions. The Commission has arranged that the names of the candidates can be withdrawn from 10 am to 1 pm on January 9.

On the same day, between 1 pm and 3 pm, the final list of candidates will be published and election symbols will be awarded to the candidates between 4 pm and 7 pm. The nomination paper registration program of candidates for the election system to be elected as the first member of the House of Representatives has been completed enthusiastically and peacefully at the office of the Chief Electoral Officer and the Election Officer.

According to the commission, 2 thousand 925 candidates have been nominated.
