Complaints about non-distribution of rights and resources in accordance with the spirit of federalism
Surkhet. Stakeholders have said that due to the non-implementation of Nepal's federalism in accordance with the spirit of federalism, the provincial governments look like units of the federal government. The speakers of the seventh edition of the Karnali festival 'Kuda Karnalika', which started on Saturday, said that although political federalism has been implemented, economic federalism has not yet been implemented.
In the program, Karnali State Assembly Member and former Minister of Economic Affairs and Planning Bindaman Bista said that the leadership of any party is not ready to implement federalism. He alleged that the federal government is trying to use the provincial and local governments as a unit. "It is not being implemented according to the spirit of federalism," he said.
