Commission Instructions to Code of Conduct Monitoring Officer

Kathmandu. The Election Commission has given additional instructions to the Election Code of Conduct Monitoring Officer. The Commission has given instructions for the effective implementation of the special conduct to be followed from today till the polling station is closed. The election of members of the House of Representatives will be held on February 21. To ensure the implementation of the Election Code of Conduct, the Assistant Chief District Officer and the Head of the Treasury and Accounts Controller's Office have been designated as Election Code of Conduct Monitoring Officers with different responsibilities.

According to the provisions contained in the Election Code of Conduct, the Commission has instructed to monitor the effective compliance of the conduct prescribed by the Code of Conduct by all parties from today to February 21. The Commission has reminded about the special conduct to be followed from 48 hours before the day of polling until the polling station is closed on the day of polling in Section 17 of the Election Code of Conduct, 2082.
