Collected more than 11 billion in Prime Minister's Disaster Fund
Kathmandu. Relief and financial support for the flood victims of Rasuwa is increasing. According to the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, there is currently 11.55 billion 56 lakh 26 thousand 971 in the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund and the Prime Minister's Relief Fund of the Government of Nepal.
To speed up the relief and reconstruction work, the government has already released one billion from the said fund for the flood-affected areas. According to the office, 8 billion 62 million 25 million 15 thousand 518 in nine commercial banks and 1 million 98 million 37 thousand 695 US dollars have been accumulated in dollar accounts in Himalayan Bank and Lakshmi Sunrise Bank.
