Class 12 Annual Exam Schedule Published
Kathmandu. The National Board of Examinations has released the schedule for the annual examination of class 12. Board's examination control office, Sanothimi Bhaktapur, has announced that from 14th Baisakh, 2083, the annual examination will be conducted for the candidates whose first two digits are 79, 80, 81 and 82 in the regular and partial registration numbers of class 12, general, technical and traditional streams.
According to the notification, the exam will be conducted from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The examination will start from 14th of Baisakh and will continue till 27th of Baisakh. According to the board, the examination of compulsory and optional subjects under various faculties and streams will be conducted on the specified date and time. On 14th Baisakh, the compulsory English 9regular subject will be started, while on 15th compulsory Nepali, 16th compulsory English 9partial and social studies 9technical edge subjects will be conducted.
Similarly, examinations of mathematics, accounting, physics, chemistry, biology, economics, education, management, humanities and various technical subjects will be conducted according to the prescribed schedule. The board has instructed the candidates to appear at the examination center at least half an hour before the commencement of the examination. Candidates who appear after 15 minutes of the examination will not be allowed to participate. It has also been made clear that re-examination will not be arranged for the candidates who are absent from the examination program.
Similarly, it has been arranged that examination centers cannot be changed, mobile phones, smart watches and other electronic devices are prohibited, examinees must bring the necessary materials themselves, and biology examinees must use the same answer sheet for botany and zoology.
If a student fails more than one subject on the same day, it is requested to inform the state or branch office of the board within 15 days of the publication of the notice. In addition, it is said that foreign nationals who study optional English instead of compulsory Nepali should take the optional English exam on 15th Baisakh.
