Kathmandu. In the ongoing season of Indian Premier League IPL, the struggle of former champions Chennai Super Kings continues. Sunrisers Hyderabad stunned Chennai by defeating Chennai by 10 runs in an exciting encounter at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium on Saturday night. With this defeat, Chennai suffered their fourth defeat in the ongoing season.

Batting first, Hyderabad lost 9 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs and made a challenging total of 194 runs. To strengthen Hyderabad's innings, Heinrich Klaasen and Abhishek Sharma contributed 59-59 runs with explosive batting. In terms of bowling, Chennai's Jamie Overton and Anshul Kamboj took 3 wickets each but failed to stop Hyderabad's run pace.

Chasing a target of 195 runs, Chennai managed to score only 184 runs with the loss of 8 wickets despite playing the entire 20 overs. Hyderabad's Ishan Malinga bowled magic to destroy Chennai's batting line-up. He dismissed key batsmen like captain Rituraj Gaikwad, Matthew Short and Sarfraz Khan while taking 3 wickets. Similarly, after Nitish Kumar Reddy and Prafulla Hinge took 2 wickets each, Chennai stopped 10 runs short of the target.  In the next match on Saturday, Delhi Capitals defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 6 wickets. The results of these games have also brought interesting changes in the points table.
