Chance of rain, rain and snow in different parts of the country under the influence of western low pressure system

Kathmandu. At present, the western low pressure system and local winds are influencing the country, according to the Weather Forecasting Division. Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces as well as hilly and Himalayan regions of Gandaki and Lumbini provinces are generally cloudy, while the Himalayan regions of other provinces are also cloudy. In the hilly areas of Koshi and Bagmati regions, there is a partial change and the weather is mainly clear in the rest of the region.

According to the department, there will be a transfer in the afternoon in most places in the country. There is a possibility of moderate rain and snowfall with thunder, lightning and hail at many places in Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces, some places in hilly and Himalayan areas of Gandaki, Lumbini and Koshi provinces and some places in other provinces. There is a possibility of heavy rain or snowfall at one or two places in the hilly and Himalayan areas of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.

Similarly, there will be change in most places of the country tonight. There is a possibility of moderate rain and snowfall with thunder, lightning and hail in many places of Karnali, Sudurpaschim and Gandaki provinces and some places of other provinces. The department has also requested the general public, farmers involved in agriculture as well as those traveling in those areas and all those involved in the operation of transport vehicles to conduct their regular activities with caution.
