Kathmandu. Due to the combined effect of the western low pressure line trough developed in the upper atmosphere of Nepal and the local air, there is a possibility of rain and snowfall in different parts of the country. According to the Water and Weather Forecasting Division, there is a general change in most of the Himalayan and hilly areas of the country, including Gandaki, Lumbini and Karnali provinces, while there is a partial change in the Terai region.

 Due to this effect, there is light rain in some places of Lumbini province and one or two places of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali provinces.

This afternoon, it is predicted that it will be generally cloudy in the Himalayan and hilly areas of the country, including Koshi, Madhes and Bagmati provinces, and partly cloudy in the rest of the Terai region.
