Kathmandu. At present, there is a partial influence of the western low pressure line in the upper atmosphere along with local and easterly winds in Nepal. Due to this weather system, it is generally cloudy in the Terai region of Koshi province along with the Himalayan and hilly areas of the country, while it is partly cloudy in Madhesh province. At present, moderate rain with thunder and lightning is occurring at a few places in Koshi and Gandaki provinces and one or two places in Bagmati, Lumbini and Karnali provinces.

It is expected to be partly cloudy in the Himalayan and hilly areas of the country as well as Madhesh Province and Terai region of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki Provinces this afternoon. The weather will be mainly clear in the Terai region of Lumbini and Far Western Provinces.
