Chance of light rain and snowfall in some places of high hills and Himalayas

Kathmandu. Currently, there is a partial effect of western wind in the country, according to the Water and Weather Forecasting Division. Some places of Koshi and Madhes provinces are experiencing thunderstorms, while the hilly and Himalayan areas of the country, including Koshi province, are partly cloudy.
According to the department, light rain and snowfall are likely in one or two places in the highlands and Himalayan parts of Koshi and Gandaki provinces this afternoon, while there will be thunderstorms in the Terai region. It will be partly cloudy in the high hilly and Himalayan parts of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki regions, while the weather will remain mainly clear in the rest of the region.
There is also a chance of light snowfall and rain at one or two places in the high hills and Himalayan areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.
