Kathmandu. At present, the influence of Monsoon air is over the country. Monsoon's low pressure line is located south of Sardar towards the eastern part of Nepal and around Sardar place towards the western part. According to the Water and Weather Forecasting Division, it will be generally cloudy in the hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini Provinces and Karnali and Far Paschim Provinces today. There is a possibility of moderate rain and snowfall with thunder and lightning in some parts of the hilly and Himalayan regions of the country.

There is a possibility of moderate rain with thunder and lightning at some places in the terai area of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces and Madhesh province as well as in few places in the terai area of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces. There is a possibility of heavy rainfall at one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini regions. According to the Water and Weather Forecast Division, there is a possibility of storm in some places of Terai area of Madhesh Province as well as Lumbini Province.
