Kathmandu.  At present, there is a partial influence of monsoon winds as well as western winds across the country. According to the Department of Water and Meteorology, Weather Forecasting Division, the low pressure line of monsoon is located south of Sardar place.

Also, a low pressure system developed over the North Andaman Sea and surrounding areas is currently over the Middle East Bay of Bengal. According to meteorologists, the system will become stronger in the coming days and move towards the west-northwest direction. At present, the Himalayan and hilly areas of the country including Koshi region are generally cloudy, while the weather in the rest of the Terai region is mainly clear to partly cloudy. At present, light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is occurring in a few places in the Himalayan and hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini regions.
