Bus found in Trishuli 'Ganpati Deluxe' lost in landslide in Simaltal

Kathmandu. A vehicle with the name Ganapati Deluxe was found buried in the sand on the banks of the Trishuli river. The parts of that vehicle were found buried on the banks of the Trishuli River near Dodrang Besi, Abukhaireni Rural Municipality-5 of Tanahun District. DSP Shailendra Thapa, co-spokesperson of the armed forces, informed that the security forces deployed from the Armed Police Force Nepal No. 17 Gan Chitwan and No. 23 Mankamana Gan Bhanu Tanahun found the vehicle with the name on it.

Ganapati Deluxe No. 03-001 BH 2495 going from Kathmandu to Gaur and Angel Deluxe No. 03-006 BH 1516 coming from Birgunj to Kathmandu were buried by a landslide on the morning of 28 June 2081 and disappeared in the Trishuli River at Simaltal in Chitwan.

Of the 31 passengers on board the Ganapati Deluxe, 3 jumped out and saved their lives, while 28 went missing. The bodies of 14 of them were found. Others are still missing.
