Kathmandu. The meeting of both houses of the federal parliament is sitting today. The meeting of the House of Representatives will be held today at 11 am in the multi-purpose hall of the under-construction Federal Parliament building at Singha Durbar. In today's meeting, there is an agenda to submit a proposal to elect "Rashtriya Swatantra Party 9 RSVP Deputy Chairman Dol Prasad Aryal" as Speaker.
On Friday, Aryal was elected unopposed to the post of Speaker. The proponent of Aryal's candidacy is Ravi Lamichhane, Chairman and Member of Parliament of RSVP, and MPs Swarnim Wagle, Sovita Gautam and Sunil Lamsal are supporters. In today's meeting, there is a possible program to present the proposal to be elected as Speaker.
