Bomb disposal found in candidate's car, four people with candidate in police custody

Kathmandu. An arms case will be held against the CPN candidate of Parsa-2, Manoj Chaudhary, who was found with explosives. DSP Hari Basnet, District Police, Parsa, said that the bomb found in the vehicle he was riding in last night had been disposed of by the Nepali Army.
A joint team of the police, the army and the Armed Police Force of Nepal found four suspicious objects that looked like a bomb from a red car with the number Ba10ch 1250 during a routine check at Barhaniyar Chowk in Birgunj. As soon as a suspicious encounter was found, along with the candidate Chaudhary, Satyanarayan Das, Suraj Karki and the driver of the vehicle were taken into custody by the army. DSP Basnet said that they are now in the custody of the District Police Office.
According to DSP Basnet, based on the report given by the Nepali Army, the four people will be detained for criminal investigation. He said that the deadline will be extended in the district court after the office is opened.
