BJP-JDU alliance heading towards two-thirds in Bihar

Kathmandu. The counting of votes for the 2025 Bihar assembly elections has begun. Early trends indicate that the NDA is leading. Today the heir to the throne of Bihar will be decided. The NDA and the Grand Alliance are at two poles, and a tough contest is likely between Nitish and Tejashwi.

Counting of votes for 243 seats in the state is being done in 46 polling stations. Nitish Kumar has enthusiastically declared victory while Tejashwi Yadav has also claimed to be sworn in on November 18.

Exit polls show that the NDA is likely to get support from women and OBCs. According to exit polls, the NDA has received strong support from women, OBCs and EBCs. The election results will determine whether Nitish Kumar will retain power or Tejashwi Yadav will write a new story for Bihar's future.

First the postal ballots are being counted, then the EVMs will be counted. A majority of 122 seats is required for a majority in 243 constituencies. The administration has arranged necessary security arrangements in all the districts for the counting of votes. The Election Commission has also made all necessary preparations.
