Kathmandu. It is estimated that more than 95.42 billion rupees will be spent to remove the stones, mud, sand and building debris accumulated due to the flood in the Bhotekoshi river and for immediate and long-term restoration. This data was released by the 'Rapid Damage and Necessity Assessment RDNA' report jointly prepared by the National Planning Commission and the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority.
According to the report, buildings worth 48 billion 24 million rupees have been destroyed and piled up due to the flood, and it seems that more than 30 million rupees will be spent to remove the pile of soil worth about 2 billion rupees.
