Kathmandu. Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balen Shah is going to form a party. He has prepared to reorganize the Desh Bikas Party and lead the party and go to the polls. A few days ago, Balen, who had discussed with the RSVP Chairman Ravi Lamichhane about going to the elections together with the National Independent Party, came to the conclusion that cooperation with the RSVP was not honorable and prepared to form a new party and go to the elections, sources said.
Sources also say that Balen is discussing with many influential people to form the party. Journalist Rishi Dhamala said that the meeting was also held today for this purpose. Dhamala himself is also a part of Balen's election discussions.
According to Dhamala, if Balen forms a new party now, he cannot go to the elections. The Election Commission has completed the party registration for the upcoming House of Representatives. Therefore, he has prepared to go to the election through a party that has already been registered for the election of the House of Representatives in the Commission.
