Arson in police office and assault on police in Genji movement: Two more accused arrested
Kathmandu. Two people have been arrested for setting fire to police station Sankhu during the Zenji movement. Those arrested are 43-year-old Pralhad Dahal, who lives in Makwanpurgadhi Rural Municipality-3 of Makwanpur and currently lives in Shankharapur Municipality-7 of Kathmandu, and 47-year-old Sanukancha Waiba, who lives in Shankharapur Municipality-3.
They are also accused of beating the police. Police Division Sankhu said that they have been sent to Police Circle Buddh for further investigation.
Similarly, 29-year-old Sajan Shrestha, who is currently residing in Balaju, Kathmandu, has been arrested along with the handgun and its keys, which were looted during the Genji movement. He was taken into custody from Gokarneshwar Municipality-7 South Door of Kathmandu on October 8th, according to Police Circle Buddh.
