Announcement of Nepali team for T-20 World Cup
Kathmandu. The Nepalese team has been announced for the T20 World Cup cricket to be jointly organized by India and Sri Lanka. Nepal Cricket Association CAN announced the team on Tuesday evening. Dipendra Singh Airi will be the vice-captain of the team under the captaincy of Rohit Paudel.
Sandeep Lamichhane, Kushal Bhurtel, Asif Sheikh, Sandeep Zora, Arif Sheikh, Basir Ahmed, Sompal Kami, Karan KC, Nandan Yadav, Gulshan Kumar Jha, Lalit Rajvanshi, Sher Mall and Lokesh M are also in the team. Sher has been included in the national team for the first time. He was selected based on his dynamic performance in the Nepal Premier League NPL.
The World Cup will be held from February 7 to March 8. Nepal group border. England, West Indies, Bangladesh and Italy are in Nepal's group.
