American citizens released from Iran
Kathmandu. US President Donald Trump has informed that an American citizen detained by Iran since December 2024 has been released and allowed to leave the country. According to him, the woman is now safely out of Iran and her health condition is also good.
President Trump expressed his gratitude for this step of Iran through his 'Truth Social' platform and said that he took it as a sign of goodwill. However, he did not initially reveal the woman's name or the reason for her detention. He only referred to him as an American citizen "wrongfully detained."
