Ambassadors appear in foreign countries, bask in the sun and return home

Kathmandu. The ambassadors recalled by the government from 11 different countries attend the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and return home after basking in the sun. On October 17th, the current government sent a letter to recall the Nepali ambassadors of 11 countries to work in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from November 20th. Accordingly, the spokesperson Lok Bahadur Paudel Chhetri informed that arrangements have been made for the ambassadors who came to Nepal to work in the ministry.

However, the daily routine of the ambassadors who have become jobless has been to go to foreign countries to show up and bask in the sun. Spokesperson Chhetri said that four of the 11 recalled ambassadors have resigned from their positions and their resignations have also been accepted. An ambassador, who did not want to be named, informed that they are waiting for the decision of the Supreme Court. The cabinet meeting held on October 30 decided to recall 11 ambassadors who had political appointments. A writ was filed in the Supreme Court saying that the government's decision was not in accordance with the law.

After the initial hearing of the case, the Supreme Court issued an interim order not to implement the decision. After the order of the Supreme Court, the government sent a letter and invited them to work in the ministry.
