All over the country, RSVP won 35 seats, Congress won 6 seats and came second

Kathmandu. According to the preliminary vote count of the House of Representatives election held on February 21, the National Independent Party (RSWP) is taking a significant lead across the country. According to the latest update, RSVP has won 36 seats. It has challenged the old parties. Out of which Nepali Congress has won 6 seats so far and has shrunk to second place.

According to the latest results, Bharat Bahadur Khadka won by 14,897 votes from Doti-1, Basna Thapa won by 12,372 votes from Dailekh-1, Santosh Subba won by 11,561 votes from Tehrathum-1. Similarly, Mohan Acharya won from Rasuwa 1 by 10,656 votes while Yogesh Gauchan - Thakali won from Mustang 1 by 3,307 votes. Similarly, Tek Bahadur Gurung won from Manang 1 by 2,415 votes.

In the counting of votes so far, RSVP has gained 84 seats. Nepali Congress has won 10 seats while CPN-UML has won 2 seats and is leading in 9 seats. Likewise, CPN has won 2 seats and has maintained a lead of 10 seats.

Especially in Jhapa-5, the senior leader of RSVP, Balen Shah, has gained a lead of about 35 thousand votes over UML president KP Sharma Oli.

According to the current election results, RSVP has now emerged as a strong party in the political scenario of the country. The election results have made the position of traditional parties challenging, while new political parties have established their dominance in public opinion.
