After the resignation of Education Minister Pradhan, the cockroach movement is back
Kathmandu. After India's Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resigned, the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP), which has been agitating in India, has withdrawn its protest on Saturday. After the government assured that the CJP would also resolve other demands from the government, the agitation that had been going on for 37 days at Jantar Mantar was withdrawn.
Addressing a press conference at the Constitution Club in the capital, CJP chief spokesperson Sourav Das said, "The CJP withdraws the agitation in good faith with the understanding that the agreed terms will be implemented within the agreed time frame."
