After the highway was blocked, gas for Kathmandu valley started to be filled from outside
Chitwan. After the road was washed away in Krishnabhir on the Prithvi Highway, cooking gas has been filled and sent to the valley in the industries outside the federal capital Kathmandu. Since the gas-laden bullets could not enter Kathmandu due to the blocking of the main highway, they were filled in cylinders outside the plants and sent through an alternative route.
According to the Nepal LP Gas Industry Association, 16 gas industries in Kathmandu Valley and neighboring districts have coordinated with industries in Chitwan, Bara, Parsa, Makwanpur, and Nawalparasi to fill gas cylinders.
In this process, Salt Trading Corporation's "STC Gas" has been filled and sent to Manoj Gas in Birganj. Similarly, Chitwan's Baba Gas has filled and sent 1,500 cylinders for Shree Gas, which has a plant in Dhading Naubise.
