Nuwakot. After the flood and erosion, the situation in Devighat area of Nuwakot has become critical. The devastating floods have washed away houses in the settlements and dumped sand, mounds and debris in large areas. Some houses have been completely damaged by the force of the flood, while only the structures of some houses remain. The place where the settlement was located has now been turned into a bagra. The view of Devi Ghat is very frightening as the ruins of houses and physical structures, mounds and mud are scattered in one place.

Floods have caused extensive damage to homes, property and daily life. Rescue and relief efforts are underway in the affected areas after the disaster, while work is also underway to collect details of the damage.

The visuals of Devi Ghat captured by the drone have further clarified the actual situation of the damage caused by the floods and landslides. The area that was once full of settlements and houses now appears to be covered with mud, mounds, sand and debris.
