After the ballistic missile launch, the world's attention is back on North Korea

Main News Image

Kathmandu. After North Korea launched several short-range ballistic missiles aimed at the sea on Sunday, tensions have flared up again on the Korean Peninsula. The United Nations nuclear watchdog has warned that Pyongyang has made "very serious" progress in developing nuclear weapons just a few days ago.

According to the South Korean military, those missiles were fired from North Korea's Sinpo region and flew about 140 kilometers and fell in the country's eastern sea region. After this incident, South Korea has intensified the exchange of information with the United States and Japan, stating that it is fully prepared to respond to any possible provocation.
