Active police arrested 226 people in four days
Kathmandu. Nepal Police has arrested 226 people in four days during the search operation conducted in various places against illegal activities such as hooliganism, middlemen, indecent behavior. Central Police Spokesperson, Deputy Inspector General of Police Avinarayan Kafle informed that 226 people have been arrested under the campaign of 18th, 19th, 20th and 21st of Chait and the process of legal action has been started.
According to the information released by the Police Headquarters, 51 people were arrested from Kathmandu Valley on the 18th, 18 from Koshi Province, one from Koshi on the 19th, seven from Madhes Province, 23 from Bagmati, two from Gandaki and 11 from Karnali.
