Action taken against two pilots of Nepal Airlines

Kathmandu. The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAN) has grounded two pilots of the Nepal Airlines Corporation for violating the rules related to flight operations. CAN had written to the corporation on Friday, instructing Captain Vijay Lama and Captain Soni Rana of the widebody aircraft to stop flying.
According to the authority, it is clearly mentioned in the aviation safety standards that photos or videos should not be taken during the flight. Based on this, both the pilots have been removed from the roster 'until further notice'.
