Academic session 083 will start from May 15 in Kathmandu metropolis
Kathmandu. Kathmandu Metropolitan City has decided to conduct the teaching and all educational activities of the upcoming academic session 2083 from May 15th. The Education Department of the Metropolitan Municipality has issued a notice on May 10 and instructed all the schools in the metropolis to conduct classes from that date.
The meeting of the education and health committee of the metropolis took this decision in consideration of the decision of the Government of Nepal and the request of the Kathmandu Valley Mayors Forum. At the beginning of the new academic session, the department said that the date for the start of teaching has been fixed after analyzing the overall educational situation and clearing the confusion among teachers, students and parents.
