A written agreement between the government and Genji: Adviser to the Prime Minister coordinating

Kathmandu. There will be a written agreement between the government and the Zenji group for the implementation of the demands and issues of the Zenji movement. According to sources, the preparations for the signing in the presence of President Ramchandra Paudel are intensifying. According to sources, a written agreement between the protesters and the state is going to be made in 2082, similar to the detailed peace agreement of 2063. Currently, informal discussions are being held with various Genji groups and the government is preparing to finalize the draft after formal talks soon.

Prime Minister's Chief Advisor Ajaybhadra Khanal is coordinating the dialogue with Genji. The government has prepared to hold formal talks with eight Genji groups. If the negotiations are successful, the agreement will be signed in the presence of the President.

Earlier, on October 25 and October 30, two rounds of discussions were held between the government and Zenji at Rashtrapati Bhavan Sheetal Niwas. In the discussion, the protestors expressed their displeasure that they were being called terrorists. They emphasized that a written agreement was necessary for the legitimacy of the movement and respect for the sacrifices. President Paudel assured the participants that the movement has obtained the legitimacy of political change. He called Prime Minister Karki's leadership as a great achievement of the movement and said that the government is sincere towards the demands of the movement.
