Kathmandu. A woman has been rescued alive from a flooded house in Betravati, Nuwakot. A team of Armed Police Force rescued his wife Chandika Shrestha alive from the buried house of local Anand Shrestha in Vidur Municipality-10 Betravati.
According to the spokesperson of the Armed Police Force, Senior Superintendent of Police SSP Netra Bahadur Karki, the rescue team under the command of the Armed Police Inspector Inspector Suman Wik managed to pull him out alive from the ruins of the house.
Since Chandika Shrestha, who was rescued alive, needs immediate additional and intensive treatment, preparations are being made to bring her to Kathmandu via Nepali Army helicopter.
