A woman attempted self-immolation in front of the Buddhist gate, burning more than 50 percent of her body

Kathmandu. A woman who has been running a cafeteria in Buddh has attempted self-immolation in front of the Buddhist gate. More than 50 percent of his body has been burnt due to the attempt of self-immolation. 27-year-old Salu Gurung, who is currently living in Buddh in Kavre's Timal, set her body on fire in front of Buddh gate at 4:50 pm on Monday. 

While informing about the incident, SP Pawan Kumar Bhattarai, Spokesperson of the District Police Complex, Kathmandu, informed that the injured Gurung is being treated in the ICU at the Burning Hospital in Kirtipur. After the incident, he was rescued and taken to Sushma Koirala Memorial Hospital located in Gokarneshwar-6. However, as his condition became serious, he was immediately referred to the Burning Hospital in Kirtipur for further treatment, police said.
