A ship carrying 30,000 metric tons of urea arrived at Calcutta port

Kathmandu. A third ship carrying 30,000 metric tons of urea fertilizer has arrived at Calcutta port in India with the aim of providing timely chemical fertilizers to the farmers of Nepal. According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development, there has been some disruption in the operation of freight trains to India due to continuous rain.

It has been learned that the train carrying 1,250 metric tons of urea fertilizer, which was supposed to arrive in Nepal earlier, will arrive by tomorrow. Similarly, another train carrying 2500 metric tons of DAP fertilizer is also expected to arrive in Nepal by tomorrow.
