A senior police officer inspected the security situation of the new parliament building
Kathmandu. AIG Ishwar Karki, chief of Kathmandu Valley Police Office Ranipokhari, has inspected the security situation of the federal parliament building under construction in Singha Darbar area. During the inspection, along with AIG Karki, senior officers of the police and Navraj Adhikari, chief of the Valley Traffic Police Office, also participated. The team observed the multi-purpose hall that was prepared temporarily and gave necessary instructions to make the security system effective for the upcoming program.
Similarly, the central lobby and the place where the House of Representatives is being constructed within the building premises were also observed. Information about the progress of the construction work, possible risks and security challenges has been taken. Briefly responding to the media after the inspection, AIG Karki said that information was obtained about the building's security arrangements, traffic management and overall construction progress.
