A plane carrying patients in the US crashes into the sea, all suspected to be dead

Kathmandu. All six people on board a medical transport plane that disappeared off the coast of Massachusetts in the US are suspected to be dead. The plane, callsign Heartbeat 104, went missing on Saturday en route from Bermuda to Boston.

However, officials said the wreckage found in the sea on Saturday evening belonged to the same plane. "We now have to face the sad reality that four members of our Latitude team, the patient and their accompanying family members, who were on board Heartbeat 104, are presumed dead," Latitude Air Ambulance, the operating company of the aircraft, said in a statement on Sunday.

According to flight tracking service FlightAware, the plane took off from Bermuda's LF Wade International Airport at 11:40 local time on Friday night.
