A person who was absconding after beating an employee in Dhading was arrested
Kathmandu. The police have arrested a person who was absconding after beating up the national service personnel who were assigned to monitor the water supply project. On the 26th of May last, the employees of the Water and Sewerage Management Office who came to inspect and supervise the construction work of the water supply project in Ijara area located in Neelkanth Municipality-4 were beaten up.
According to the police, Sub-Engineer Suresh Ale Magar and Supervisor Havendra Kumar Yadav, who were posted from the Water and Sewerage Management Office, were beaten up by Sanjiv Malla, a local resident, who was angry with them for using the sloped road at the local level without obtaining permission. In the incident, Sub-Engineer Ale was slightly injured, while Supervisor Yadav was seriously injured on his head, face and various parts of his body. After initial treatment, he was referred to a hospital in Lalitpur for further treatment. He is currently undergoing treatment.
