A group active to disrupt elections, set fire to two vehicles in Maharajganj and Naikap
Kathmandu. Two vehicles were set on fire in Maharajgunj and Naikap in Kathmandu. A Toyota car bearing the number BAA 2836 was found near the office of Sipradi Trading in Naikap and a Maruti van bearing the number Ba 7 Ch 1401 was found on fire in Maharajganj.
According to District Police Complex Kathmandu SP Pawan Bhattarai, a Maruti van was found on fire near Rajdhani Petrol Pump in Maharajgunj. SP Bhattarai said that leaflets belonging to the medical professional Durga Prasai group were found at the scene. The police are investigating it.
It has been estimated that arson was set by a group active in order to disrupt the House of Representatives elections on February 21.
